The Basics
Born in Washington, DC, I grew up in Bethesda, MD and headed to Scotland for college, where I received both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Russian from the University of St. Andrews.
I worked in Russia for several years, then moved back to the DC area for a career as a defense and intelligence contractor.
Now I live with my husband in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, staying active, enjoying the surroundings, and focused on writing.
I love the great outdoors…
…hiking, paddle boarding, running, I’ll go for whatever is on offer. But ultimately there are few better ways I can think of to spend the day than reading a good book.
